^ Maybelline ExpertWear Eyeshadow in Tastefully Taupe
^ Maybelline ExpertWear Eyeshadow in Made For Mocha

Recently after searching the drugstore for some new Maybelline products so that I'm able to create a post featuring some Maybelline products I stumbled across there ExpertWear Single Eyeshadow's. I know previously that these were a dry formula and very hard to get pigmentation from, I also knew that many of the shadow formulas were the same throughout there quads and larger palettes. I picked up Tastefully Taupe and Made For Mocha because I felt as if they were everyday shades and something I could use in every single look that I create. The last couple of days I've been using these to create several different looks and there very nice eyeshadow's.

These shadows are very pigmented, as you can see in the swatch below, and there quite inexpensive as well. These are $5 at my local drugstore's and Wal-Mart, but for the price I really feel as if there worth it both financial and through there quality. I've even liked the formula so much I've went out and purchased three more (which I may do a swatch post of later). These are not only pigmented but there a great formula, these are a drier eyeshadow but they still are creamy enough to produce the great pigmented that your able to see but at the same time there is no fallout with these and they stick to the eye lid very easily. I do find these a bit hard to blend out, especially in my crease area but after fussing with them a bit they do blend out and create a nice look. Like most eyeshadow's thought I do recommend using an eyeshadow base and a color base underneath the shadows; like NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil(s). The only other major complaint is although these are pigmented in swatches I find when placed on the eyes these can be a bit underwhelming. Meaning that I do feel like you have to build them to get them fully intense and pigmented.

So far I have been really enjoying these two shades to create both natural and bold look without going over the top. I find that with these to shades and the others I own that I am able to use them for everyday looks as well without being repetitive. There are so many great shades and finishes that no two looks come out the same with these and I love experimenting with new looks. If your looking for an inexpensive and good quality shadow I recommend checking these out!

Have you ever tried these eyeshadow's? What are your favorite shades?

    1. These are very under-rated! I believe Maybelline has changed the formula so there so much better than what they used to be!
