How To: Applying Concealer!

Saturday, April 5, 2014

Hey Dolls!
Today I'm going to be doing a quick little post on my favorite ways and techniques on applying concealer all over your face. This is just the way that I like to do it, although it can be done many other ways! This is what makes my face look great and what I feel works best when I do it, I am no means trying to tell you how you should do it!

Lets Begin:
When I applying my concealer, I like to place a small amount on the back of my hand, I then use my ring finger to lightly apply dots of it under my eyes, and up the bridge of my nose. Before this dries, I like to use my beauty blend sponge to blend this in. I then place some in the middle of my forehead and blend this out using my beauty blended as well. Finally I  switch to a more liquid type concealer and apply this around my nose and mouth and any imperfections I am having that day. I sometimes use my beauty blender to blend this in as well, but I find that my fingers work much better in these areas!

This process changes also depending on how my skin is, currently my skin is very dry and this is where I have my problem areas so I like to apply a more liquid concealer, with less coverage to hydrate the area. If it were oil, I would chose a full coverage concealer in that case. This goes with the rest of my face as well.
I hope that you have found this post helpful, you can refer to the face chart above to see exactly where I like to apply my concealer.
