Milani Brillant Shine Lipgloss | Review & Swatches!

Monday, May 19, 2014

I'm so excited for the upcoming summer time because it means I get to experiment with makeup a little bit more than what I'm used to doing. Recently I bought some of the Milani Brillant Shine Lipglosses, because I thought they would be a perfect asset to go with any of my current lipsticks and because the shades looked beautiful. Upon getting them home and playing around with them, I actually found that I simply liked them better on there own, they make your lips looks juicy, glossy and beautiful.
Here is what they look like:
I decided when purchasing these to only pick up the 'cream' formulas - although all the formulas are the same I tend to like to stay away from lipgloss than contains glitter and so I picked up only those colors without glitter in them. There are also a few more non-glitter shades that I would like to pick up, but I'm trying to stop myself!

The shades I picked up are (left to right):
Bare Secret, Pink Lady, Sweet Grapefruit, Coral Crush & Ravish Raspberry!

This product comes with a handy doe-foot wand application but when you lay this brush onto your lips it has a slopped area which actually makes the brush feel like the contours of your lips, its hard to explain! I love how effortlessly these go on the lips as well and how easy it is to get the color to transfer. I do however find these lipglosses heavy, and a bit tacky and by tacky I don't at all mean sticky because these certainly are not. The tacky feeling does allow them to stay on for a good amount of hours (3-4), I tested these out and still fell the lipgloss feeling after 3 or 4 hours, however the color slightly fades of the lips but the shine of the gloss is still there!

I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great lipgloss! And since these are from Milani, they are greatly priced to and not only can these be bought in stores but they are avaliable on Milani's website which ships both to Canada and the USA!
