Revlon Moisture Stain Review & Swatches!

Friday, September 19, 2014

Recently I stumbled into my local drugstore and found that the Revlon Moisture Stains were on sale, I was very happy because not only are these regular $12 but there something I've wanted to try since they came out because I have been obsessed with Revlon lip products for so long now! I purchase both London Posh & LA Exclusive to begin with and after wearing LA Exclusive for a few days I knew it was something I loved so much that I went back and purchased two other shades (Rio Rush & India Intrigue)!

Although these are a great product they are smooth and semi-hydrating with a water like feel on the lips - however this feeling goes away after several minutes and after your lips have heated the product. I also find these to have easy application because of the doe footed applicator. The only thing I don't like about these is how thick the formula feels going onto the lips, when I first applied this I thought it was going to then get dry and cling in my lip lines, I was happy when the formula didn't. The only other thing I was disappointed in was the lasting power and staining effect. I really don't believe these to be a staining product, even the darker shades don't seem to leave a long lasting stain on my lips, however these are more of a comfortable pigmented lipgloss without the sticky feeling!

Overall I'm a huge fan of these products just like all the other Revlon lip products, I was happy that I was able to buy them on sale for only $5.99 each rather than the original $12! I'm even thinking of going to pick up one more color, maybe two, because they are something that I've really enjoyed wearing and see myself wearing in the future! Check out some more images of the moisture stains below as well as swatches! Make sure to check out my instagram and tumblr for more images and thoughts on this product!

Have you guys tried this product? What are your thoughts?

    1. There super pricey, but try looking for some coupons and some sales! Sadly my sale lastest a few days in my area, so I wasn't able to pick up more. I got mine from a local drugstore who rotates there product a lot so try unknown places like that in your areas!
      Happy shopping!
