Soft Cut Crease | Face of the Day!

Thursday, March 26, 2015

Hey Beauties! Recently I've been completely playing with makeup, I'm not sticking to neutral eyes or natural looking makeup. I'm really doing full face over the top makeup looks that are still wearable but there things were I can try different techniques and experiment with color. For today's look (March 23rd) I wanted to do a cut crease look which turned into more of a smokey soft cut crease look - while this wasn't the look I had intended to do this day it did come out really pretty and I wanted to share this look so I can come back later and look and see how much I've improved. I again used the lovely LA Girl Cosmetics Smoky Palette & LA Girl Cosmeitcs Ultra Palette to complete this look because the shadows are just so pretty and blendable and to be honest I think that's why it came out a little bit more smoky than intended. I also went and did a winged liner today, to help further practice my liner abilities. Other than that I went back to using an old foundation favorite, Maybelline Dream Liquid Foundation, and this does break me out but not super bad so I don't mind wear it for short days. I also decided to really highlight my face today and while I don't think it showed up well on the images in person it was beautiful. Also another thing I'm really focused on lately is purifying and smoothing out my skin, I do a nightly wash routine but if you have any product suggestions to help with texture or help with smoothing out skin please please let me know as I'd love to try and get more into the skincare world! Here are all the products I used in today's look:
