A Mailbox Full of Marcelle Cosmetics!*

Monday's can be painful. Especially for me, now that I'm up WAY before the sun and I travel 2 hours to school through crazy rush hour traffic. Don't let this confuse you though, school has been an amazing journey so far and I couldn't be happier. Getting up before the sun refreshes me, makes me awake for the day and gives me just the boost that I need. But there is always that Monday feeling we all get and that doesn't seem to leave no matter the time of day. However, one of the best parts about Monday is receiving an unexpected, beautiful and perfect package in the mail from one of your favorite brands. After unexpectedly winning a lovely prize pack from Marcelle Cosmetics during a Twitter Party several months ago I immediately feel in love with so many of their products, even to the point where I use their Gentle Makeup Remover daily. I have also had the amazing opportunity to receive this lovely little package. I have given some of the products a quick testing, but before I can get into in-depth reviews I decided I would share with you all a little 'Mailbox Haul' of what the lovely folks at Marcelle Cosmetics have sent to me. I believe in being as open and transparent as possible here on Little Beauty Bug and I felt that I should and wanted to share this amazing opportunity and experience with you all.

Let's talk about liners. By far one of the biggest things I'm lacking in my collection is a good liner - both lip and eye formulas. The first thing I saw when digging into my package little a happy kid on Christmas morning were these beautiful lip liners, eyeliners, and brow pencils. First off I received the lovely Forever Sharp Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner in White and Blackest Black. These have an extremely smooth and creamy texture and don't tug on the eyes or skin. I also received the Forever Sharp Waterproof Lipliner in Fuschia and French Rose. These are also extremely smooth, creamy and pigmented. When I tested these on the back of my hand they lasted for approximately 6 hours without starting to fade - this was just a swatch - and I went about my day as usual. I also received the Forever Sharp Waterproof Eyebrow Liner in Blonde and the Nano Eyebrow Liner in Blonde. These products have a much harder formula than the previous pencil's but they do perform well and once heated up on the back of your hand the do become a little less tough to work with. I find both brow pencils do give a very natural look to the brows rather than those intense 'Instagram Brows' that seem to be everywhere now.

Let's move on to talk about the wonderful face products in my package. I have been drooling over the Marcelle blushes, both powders and creams, for so long now. I was very happy to find both a Powder Blush and Cream Blush in my package. The Powder Blush came in the shade Pink Mademoiselle and the Cream Blush in Coral. The first thing I noticed about these products was how pigmented the formula of them are and how smooth they are. I do have to say though the shape of the powder blush is a little bit weird with the raised sections. However, over time and use this will flatten out. I do just find that my brush picks up product unevenly. Lastly for the face products, they sent on through the Ultra Gentle Moisturizing Cream. This product seemed perfect for my skin since I do suffer with acne and am on Accutane which has made my skin extremely dehydrated. I love that I got sent a product that suits my skin type so fantastic and that will hopefully work wonders on my skin. I'm all about having a healthy complexion and happy skin. It's great when a brand sends you products that are obviously suited and perfect for your skin type, tone and overall complexion.

Last but certainly not least is the Rouge Xpression Lipsticks. I received the shades 880 - Fuchsia Flare and 825 - French Rose. I believe that both of these shades are new shades released with their Fall 2015 collection (please correct me if I'm wrong). Like many other Marcelle Cosmetics products, their lipsticks have been something I have been dying to try for a while now but have never made a conscious effort to purchase. I was also very thrilled to receive some amazing fall and pretty shades in my package. I love testing and trying out lipsticks, but most of all I love trying them out when they are such different colors, I think you get a much better idea of how the formula performs.
