First Impressions: Hard Candy Contouring Face Trio!

Its been a very long time since something at the drugstore really caught my eye and I just had to have it, with the release of some new Hard Candy products I knew what was coming but never thought once I viewed the products myself that certain things would stand out. The Contouring Face Trio in 3 Strikes was one of the prettiest things I had ever seen and so the other day I caved and decided to pay the $9 dollars and get it!

Here is what the product looks like:

The main focus of this product for me is the pretty deep pink purple toned blush and recently I have discovered that purple shades look great on my skint one so I knew this could be the perfect product for me. This cost be about $9 plus taxes (Canadian price) and this product can be found at Wal-Mart, because Hard Candy is an exclusive brand only sold at Wal-Marts! This product also contains 11grams of product which is a ton. This is also a baked product, meaning you can use this product wet to create more color intensity, but since I think that this color(s) is pretty intense on its own I opt for not wetting the product before use.

This product is NOT a matte product and all colors in this trio do contain shimmer, NOT glitter! However coming into spring and summer I think that a little bit of shimmer is a great this. This product gives your cheeks a flushed, flawless and glowy finish which is perfect for year round but especially heading into the warmer months. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that although this bronzer looks like it would pull orange it does not on my very fair skin (for reference I'm shade Ivory in every foundation I purchase). I'm also very impressed with how pigmented the product is, as you can see above that is one small swipe in each color and then onto my skin, there super pigmented. And there formula is also great, they are a bit powder but this is to be expected from a baked product, however they blend effortlessly onto the skin and apply very nicely.
