Physicians Formula Bronzer Booster Review!

Wednesday, March 18, 2015

Hey Beauties! Recently if you've visiting my Facebook Page, Instagram or Tumblr you will have already seen some images of the Physicians Formula Bronze Booster in Light/Medium after I pulled it out of my collection and FINALLY tried it. I picked this bronzer up probably three or four months ago and when I brought it home and swatched it my immediate reaction was why did I waste the money on this, I then stuck it into my collection because I didn't even want to try it. It was light and orange and I was so mad that I just never used it. I recently did a mini-declutter of my makeup and came across this bronzer and decided to put it in a basket on my vanity with some other things to test and try before getting rid of them and boy am I glad I did. I'm in love with this product, so in love that it now is sitting in my everyday usage drawer right on my desk.
Here is a full on swatch of the product and if you are like me your thinking what even is that, it is a VERY light orange toned powder and it really didn't appeal to me in the beginning either. However when you apply this bronzer to you face its a completely different product then what your seeing above. I used my Icing Angled Brush which I was daily for bronzer and this went on so effortlessly that I was shocked. This blends into the skin so beautifully, and makes your skin look so naturally tanned that you won't believe yours eyes. I personally don't self tan, or go outside during the winter months to get a tan so I'm pretty pale but this honestly gives me the look that I've been sitting in the sun for days. Its flawless. I also found that this didn't draw attention to any red spots or discoloration under neath of the product, which I do have some issues with when using other bronzers. I did go ahead and contour on top of this product using the NYX Powder Blush in Taupe (which I have hit pan on *sad moment*) but I really concentrated this back by my ears instead of bringing it so far forward because I wanted my bronzer to me the star of the show.
I wore this bronzer for about five hours because I started to notice that it had faded slightly, but I also wasn't wearing a normal foundation that I usually wear so I will be trying it with other foundations to test the wear power some more. I'm just overall so impressed with this product that I couldn't not talk about it. I haven't tried many things from Physicians Formula besides there Happy Booster Blushes and those are just as stunning. But I have a feeling that I will be going out to purchase some more of there products because while they are a bit more expensive for the drugstore ($12-$20) I really do feel like these products are worth it because they are extremely soft, this bronzer was so lightly pressed in the pan that picking pigment up on the brush was so easy. The products are also suited towards more mature skin and have some amazing ingredients within them to really help your skin out. So far I'm really impressed by this bronzer and Physicians Formula and I can't wait to try and test out more of there products!

    1. Thanks! I'm going to have to go take a look at the darker one for in the summer months when I get tan, as I don't think this shade will match me!
